You would not expect a charitable gesture like visiting the impoverish country of Ghana to become a controversial story – but when you throw Amber Rose in the picture it becomes polemic.
Recently video vixen Amber Rose was invited to Ghana along with RnB singer Trey Songz to host the Vodafone 020 musical festival where she also took the opportunity to meet some of the local people and pose for pictures that she later Tweeted.
Amber Rose who became an overnight celebrity by dating Kanye West did the mistake of posting few remarks accompanying the photos where she can be seen with needy children and school girls in very conservative uniforms.
In her brief post, the former stripper said that the African nation had no middle class, people were either super rich or super poor.
Miss Rose was blasted by a boat load of celebrities and Ghanians who found her comments wrong, tasteless, inaccurate and rude.
The reality who is not afraid of a fight took to her blog to defend her self with a lengthy post:
“U do something positive in this industry u get scrutinized I really came to the conclusion that its not even about me its the fact that I’m a woman. Men i

Ree Drummond was a West Coast transplant and vegetarian when she met and married a corn-fed Oklahoma cowboy.
She started writing about her new life on the range on a blog called The Pioneer Woman the name meant to be tongue-in-cheek, but at times not too far from the truth. Like when she lost all water pressure to her house for four months while taking care of her two small children.
I had to learn to haul water in, boil water on the stove and fill toilets, she says in a recent interview.
Plumbing problems, thankfully, will take a backseat on Drummonds new Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman, set at the Oklahoma ranch she shares with her husband and four kids. (It premieres Saturday at 11:30 a.m.).

Brad Pitt plays a hero in many of his movies, and now he’s one in real life after saving a woman on the set of his new movie from being trampled.
It happened Thursday during a scene of “World War Z” in Glasgow, Scotland, when 700 extras were used to portray a zombie invasion, People magazine reported.
One woman slipped and Pitt was there to help her escape from being trampled.
The woman suffered only has a scrape on her knee, thanks to her new favorite movie star.
() — “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” opens with a brutally unsettling sequence: In a stately stone manor, a man traps a pretty housekeeper and smashes her teeth with a hammer (he’s already done the same thing to himself), all to offer up those teeth as a ritual sacrifice to the spirits who live there.
(The spirits must sit around watching “Saw” sequels.)
I can’t say that I totally enjoyed this sequence, but it did seem a harbinger of a sickly effective shocker; so did the fact that fantasy/horror maestro Guillermo del Toro (“Pan’s Labyrinth”) is the film’s producer and co-writer.
